And I bet you thought you knew what WWW stood for...

I decided to create this page after getting in touch with a couple people also going by the name Woody, either in real life or on the 'net. The idea had been bounced around a couple of times, and I finally decided to buckle down and do it. Heck, someone's got to, right? (grin)

So, here we are. Maybe you've seen some of these before, maybe not. In any case, the name seems to go hand in hand with some form of creativity, so enjoy the websites you find...

Woody's World of Wonders
Okay, maybe a little cheesy to start off with my own homepage, but hey, I'm the one doing this, okay? (grin)

WoodyWorld
The first Woody to get ahold of me. Was originally his suggestion to start a page o' Woody's, I just had to bounce it around in my head to decide how I wanted to set it up.

Ed Woody's Homepage
With links to Wierd Al, Calvin and Hobbes, and Animaniacs, how can you go wrong? Wierd, maybe, but not wrong...

Woody Welcomes You!
This is getting fun...four links down, and we've already got an Aussie Woody in the mix! Amazing...and if you're ever bouncing around IRC, look for {Woody}...should be this guy. Say hey...

Woody's Home
Now introducing Woody Lee, a research associate at Texas A&M. There were actually a lot more big words involved in that, but me being a bear of very little brain, I lost them between Netscape and here. (shrug) Lots of weather info, and other fun bits near the end...Hey MO! Nyuk nyuk nyuk...

Welcome to Mr. Woody's World!
Hey...it's another Mac user! (grin) Pat Woods, a graphic designer has started staking his claim in the Web, and joins us all here. Has a bit of a portfolio up...things like this make me realize just how little true drawing ability I have. Ah, well...

do not adjust your eyeballs
Yeah...you'd think they'd come adjusted straight from the factory. (shrug) Normal links aren't even good enough for this Woody...he's got to have 'sausage links' on his page. Bummer...a pun I should have thought of earlier.

--------Woody's Place--------
Woody's Casa...and life is a fiesta! Music and reference links, and we have our first Web-professed Doom fan. I'm jealous...my machine won't even think about running that, just snickers when I mention it. Anyway...

Woody
I think the first truly famous Woody on the list...and certainly the first computer-generated one! (grin) Once I found this website, I knew I couldn't pass it up for the list.

Woody Page
woody out of portland's raucous music scene emerges woody. the band the crowd's are going wild over. the band the critics love to hate. the band rolling stone called "the latest sensational young band to emerge from portland's fecund music scene."...or, maybe...?

WoodyWare
WoodyWare is the name given to Software written by Jerry Woody. With his first program, Valley Girl Fortunes, written in 1991; the WoodyWare software library now consists of over 30 programs. These programs mostly consists of what is known as BBS Doors; remote programs that run remotely under BBS programs. Here you'll find a list of featues that have made WoodyWare an INTERNATIONAL leader in telecommunication software!

Woody Pollack's Home Page
Buffett, Buffett, Buffett. Gotta love Jimmy. This Woody's a Junior Computer Science Major whose interests include Virtual Reality and Jimmy Buffett. And parrots, ap-'parrot'-ly (ugh), from his page. (grin)
Woody's Web World
Keep your hands and feet inside the car at all times. Woo. Okay. (grin) The latest Woody to join us wrote me with a question I should probably start asking of those who find this page...
"I'm curious as to how everyone came to use the name "Woody". As for myself, I like to play chess, and I started going by the name "WoodPusher," everyone I contacted started calling me "Woody," and that is how I came to use the name."
Woody's Barrel of Monkeys
Monkeys...rats...wookies...and all other sorts of goofy things. This Woody approaches "this information superhighway thingamabob" with just the amount right combination of cynycism and tongue in cheek attitude. I like. (grin)
Super-Mega Woody's Homepage"
Hey...any page with this many images from Bloom County has got to have somebody cool behind it. This particular Woody hails from the University of Auburn.
Woody van Olffen
The first Woody so far that doesn't have a personal Webpage up yet. Of course, if I were a PhD student, I probably wouldn't have a page up either. (grin) Anyway, he joins us from The University of Limburg at Maastricht in the Netherlands, and you can reach him at w.vanolffen@mw.rulimburg.nl.
Woody Piirto
Here's another presently pageless Woody for the list. He's a sophomore in high school, and in case any college recruiters stop by the page, he's one of the top basketball scorers in Colorado, averaging 24.23 points per game, and recently scored 52 points in a game. He can be reached at piirto@colorado.edu.
Woody's Web Page
We now have a Woody from West Lafayette, Indiana joining our little group. This Woody is the proud owner of a beautiful 1979 TransAm that he's been working on restoring. Definitely worth a look. *NEW*His page has undergone some changes recently, so this is a new link...
Woody's World
The homepage of Rodney J. Woodruff. This page has some of the most fascinating and just plain cool tricks involving Netscape 2.0, JavaScript, the ShockWave plugin (which I have yet to explore), that I've seen yet. Netscape 2.0 highly recommended for this page...as is a visit.
Woody's Pub
Come on in and check out Woody's drinks and even help Woody get into the Guiness book of World Records!
Woody's Wonderful World
And here we have add an English Woody to the mix. Some interesting observations on the nature of homepages, and a teaser of information about IT SUCKS. Check it out for yourself...
Coming Soon...
Well, I can't really comment too much about this one yet...though he does promise more in the future!
The Woodie's Web Page
The home of a San Francisco area Surf Band called...gee, can you guess this one...The Woodies! Reviews, at least one photo (nice shot), .wav's, and other bits. I'll be spending some more time on this one soon...probably check out some of those sound files. Anyway...
Mike Woody
A man of very few words...namely, "Page me! Page me! Page me!" Well, paged he is...e-mail only at the moment, but he's here. (grin)
Woody's Wide Web...all are welcome!
Hey, cool...not only does he have Web Wide Woody's linked on his page, but it's the first one on there! Nifty little background graphic...and a Zeppelin fan to boot. Too cool...
Woody's Page of Doom
Not the game Doom, but general doom and depression...along with some fun links, a couple of nice dragon's heads, and some raytraced images done in POVray2. Nice looking stuff...maybe someday I'll have a computer that can do stuff like that. (grin) Once Ed hands me that $10 million check, that is...
Woody's Web Space
The home of Jason Wood - a student at University of Calgary, and at least at one point studying chemistry. (Yg - almost as bad as physics, imho...a math class they try to pass off as science...) Anyway, must admit, haven't seen too many pages with links to both Billy Joel and opera on the same list....
Odin's Arena
Cool Place to hang out! Woody Boyd's Odin Arena contains various icons, images, and bars to use in creating HTML documents as well as info about who I am and some links that I enjoy. Most of the images are in GIF format, although some are JPG. Tons of stuff added every week!
Woody's Pad
The homepage of Steve Houtkooper - a Dutch last name, that means buyer of wood. I thought that was kind of interesting.... Will need to say more about the acutal page later, my PPP link's acting up...

Are you a Woody? Would you like to be listed here?

E-mail me with your WWW address and I'll put you up on the list. If you'd like your own summary by your entry, include that...and for those of you that I've already written stuff for, if you'd like something different, just let me know and I'll change it. Laters, folks...
