More testing of images, alt text, and Mastodon. The second of two posts. Details under the cut, after the image.

This is a test. This is only a test. This test post needed an image, so this is what it gets. If this were an actual post with content worth reading, you would be much more entertained than you are now.

This post was written in the MarsEdit macOS app as plain text HTML.

One image was attached and uploaded via MarsEdit. The image has alt text defined within MarsEdit, but at this time, the alt text is only added within the HTML code; the copy of the image that gets added to the WordPress media gallery does not get the alt text defined in the media gallery. This is a known issue with the current version of MarsEdit and may be fixed in a future release.
