I&#8217;m allowed to be a bit slow.<\/p>\n<p>Steve Jobs announced the usual slew of goodies during his <a href=\"http:\/\/developer.apple.com\/wwdc\/\" title=\"Worldwide Developers Conference 2003\">WWDC<\/a> keynote speech. To sum up:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A &#8216;sneak preview&#8217; of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/macosx\/panther\/\" title=\"Apple - Mac OS X - Panther\">Panther<\/a>, the next major update to Mac OS X, due to be released before the end of the year. Some parts look brilliant (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/macosx\/panther\/expose.html\" title=\"Apple - Mac OS X - Panther - Expose\">Expos\u00e9<\/a>), some I&#8217;m not sold on yet (the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/macosx\/panther\/finder.html\" title=\"Apple - Mac OS X - Panther - Finder\">new Finder<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/safari\/\" title=\"Apple - Safari\">Safari<\/a> updates to v1.0. All the previous Safari goodness, plus it finally renders <a href=\"http:\/\/www.geekmuffin.com\/\" title=\"geek*muffin\">Kirsten&#8217;s site<\/a> correctly. Yay!<\/li>\n<li>iChat becomes <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/ichat\/\" title=\"Apple - Software - iChat AV\">iChat AV<\/a>, with audio and video conferencing in addition to text chat. Looks nifty, I just don&#8217;t have a camera for my mac.<\/li>\n<li>Good thing Apple also introduced the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/isight\/\" title=\"Apple - Hardware - iSight\">iSight<\/a> camera!
