On the West Coast, Thrice will play at the Apple Store Third Street Promenade, located in Santa Monica, Calif. Each performance will be at 7 p.m. in their respective time zones.<\/p>\n<p>  The shows kick off a highly anticipated double bill &#8212; presented by Alternative Press magazine and MTV2 &#8212; which begins Oct.\u00a017 in Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<p>  The music performed at the events will be available exclusively for purchase at the iTunes Music Store.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Already, Apple Store performances can be found at the iTMS from <a href=\"\/\/phobos.apple.com\/WebObjects\/MZSearch.woa\/wa\/com.apple.jingle.search.DirectAction\/advancedSearchResults?term=less%20jake%20apple%20store\" title=\"Less Than Jake Live at the Apple Store\">Less Than Jake<\/a> (iTMS link) and <a href=\"\/\/phobos.apple.com\/WebObjects\/MZSearch.woa\/wa\/com.apple.jingle.search.DirectAction\/advancedSearchResults?term=rising%20apple%20store\" title=\"The Rising Live at the Apple Store\">The Rising<\/a> (iTMS link). I think this is a fascinating way to co-promote both the bands and Apple&#8217;s brand.<\/p>\n<p>While it&#8217;s been known that Apple has a major event this Thursday that has a 90% or better chance of featuring the introduction of iTunes (and the iTMS) for Windows, according to both <a href=\"http:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/pages\/2003\/10\/20031013130359.shtml\" title=\"More iTunes 5 Info?\">MacRumors<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.appleinsider.com\/news.php?id=220\" title=\"iPod in the Classroom and New iTunes Software?\">AppleInsider<\/a>, there may be some nice surprises in store for Mac users, too.
