Fox then taps into her list of 40 million e-mail addresses &#8212; 1,500 times more names than Slidell has people &#8212; for possible targets. She is paid based on how many prospective buyers she delivers to the marketer. Until recently she made a good living spamming, she says, pulling in $4,000 in a good week, $2,000 in a slow week.
