It&#8217;s not a battle fought with weapons of mass destruction, Lord save us, and it&#8217;s not a battle fought in armored personnel carriers.<\/p>\n<p>  It is a battle, children, for the hearts &#8212; yea, verily, for the everlasting souls &#8212; of America&#8217;s trunks and bumpers. It is a battle of words and wills, and fish. Lots and lots of fish.<\/p>\n<p>  Hallelujah! Can I get a witness?\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Amen, brother.<\/p>\n<p>Personally, I&#8217;m fairly partial to this one&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/michaelhans.com\/eclecticism\/graphics\/2004\/01\/graphics\/WhateverFish.jpg\" height=\"114\" width=\"302\" alt=\"Whatever Fish\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;though there are certainly <a href=\"http:\/\/www.meangene.com\/darwin\/\" title=\"Darwin Fish\">a lot to choose from<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>One thing about the article did really bug me, though.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n  Farmer, the Ashland fish maker, said the only word fish booksellers in his area wouldn&#8217;t carry was Tolerance.<\/p>\n<p>  Some fish, friends, are just too hard to swallow.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The <em>only one<\/em> they won&#8217;t sell. They&#8217;re quite happy to sell as many other this believe vs.\u00a0that belief slogans as they can, but heaven forbid they actually suggest that we actually try to <em>get along<\/em> with each other!
