After all, my general day-to-day routine is usually just that: routine. I get up, dink around on the &#8216;net, go to work, come home, dink around on the &#8216;net, and go to bed.<\/p>\n<p>Repeat, ad infinitum, ad naseum.<\/p>\n<p>While talking to one of my regular customers tonight, though, we both started laughing.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past six months, I&#8217;ve bought a top-of-the-line computer, been dismissed from my job for posting a photograph on my blog, caught some small amount of fame because of that event (which isn&#8217;t over yet &#8212; I&#8217;m not going to divulge <em>too<\/em> many details just yet, but I did spend a few hours over a couple nights being interviewed last week&#8230;), been able to watch two fires at the building next door, seen Howard Dean, had my website design appropriated twice, seen my little brother get married, been served a &#8220;cease and desist&#8221; letter for my participation in the Grey Day project, lost my camera, and now I&#8217;m working three 13-hour days in order to get a little more money to replace the lost camera.<\/p>\n<p>Not bad for a &#8220;boring life&#8221;, is it?<\/p>\n<p><strong>iTunes:<\/strong> &#8220;My World (Visual Valley)&#8221; by van Dyk, Paul from the album <em>Goa Rave<\/em> (1994, 4:16).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I, along with many (most?) people, have a tendency to lament about how boring my life is.
