Extremely so. Shyamalan excels when it comes to creating unsettling moods, and he uses that to full effect throughout the movie. Unfortunately, after ninety minutes of buildup, the end is something of a letdown. <a href=\"https:\/\/michaelhans.com\/eclecticism\/2003\/05\/13\/signs\/\">&#x27A1;<\/a><\/span><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/michaelhans.com\/eclecticism\/2003\/05\/13\/kevins-back\/\">Kevin&#039;s back!<\/a> <span class=\"today_excerpt\">My little brother Kevin, who's been visiting his fiancee Emily in Africa for the past four months (she's finishing up a 2-year stint in the Peace Corps) got home recently.
