Elsewhere in Seattle, though, it's far different. Flooding, mudslides, downed trees, three people dead (one a woman who drowned in her basement apartment) and one million people without power. <a href=\"https:\/\/michaelhans.com\/eclecticism\/2006\/12\/15\/post-storm-report\/\">&#x27a1;<\/a><\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>2004<\/strong><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/michaelhans.com\/eclecticism\/2004\/12\/15\/he-had-a-piercing-stare\/\">He had a piercing stare&#8230;<\/a> <span class=\"today_excerpt\">This is hands-down one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time &mdash; eyeglasses without rims, bows, or even a bridge. They're attached via a bridge piercing. <a href=\"https:\/\/michaelhans.com\/eclecticism\/2004\/12\/15\/he-had-a-piercing-stare\/\">&#x27a1;<\/a><\/span><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/michaelhans.com\/eclecticism\/2004\/12\/15\/well-it-sounded-good\/\">Well, it sounded good&#8230;<\/a> <span class=\"today_excerpt\">That camera I won? Nevermind. Turns out that that was the prize for the account manager.
