Beagle: 'The Last Unicorn'\">The Last Unicorn<\/a> (previously produced in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/tg\/detail\/-\/B00019330Y\/djwudicom-20\" title=\"Amazon: Arthur Rankin Jr., Jules Bass: 'The Last Unicorn'\">animated form<\/a>) in production.<\/p>\n<p>In theory, this could be a very good thing &#8212; though I must admit, I&#8217;m a little more excited about the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.narnia.com\/\" title=\"~ Welcome to NARNIA ~\">live-action version<\/a> of C. S. Lewis&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/tg\/detail\/-\/0060598247\/djwudicom-20\" title=\"Amazon: C. S. Lewis: 'The Chronicles of Narnia'\">The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe<\/a> &#8212; apparently the first in a planned seven-film series covering the entire set of books, with special effects by the crew of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wetadigital.com\/\" title=\"Weta Digital \/ Weta Wokshop\">Weta<\/a> (you might have heard of them &#8212; they did the effects for a little series called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/tg\/detail\/-\/B000654ZK0\/djwudicom-20\" title=\"Amazon: Peter Jackson: 'The Lord of the Rings - The Motion Picture Trilogy (Special Extended DVD Edition)'\">The Lord of the Rings<\/a>).
