All I knew about her was the image &#8212; the blonde bombshell, most often posed either with her skirt blowing up around her waist or in her famous nude shot.<\/p>\n<p>Last week I got <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/tg\/detail\/-\/B00003CXCR\/djwudicom-20\" title=\"Amazon: Billy Wilder: 'Some Like It Hot (Special Edition)'\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/images.amazon.com\/images\/P\/B00003CXCR.01._SCMZZZZZZZ_.jpg\" align=\"right\" \/>Some Like it Hot<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.netflix.com\/\" title=\"Netflix\">Netflix<\/a>), Prairie and I watched it over that weekend, and both <em>really<\/em> enjoyed it &#8212; as much for realizing just how cute Marilyn was as for the excellent humor running throughout the film.
