Trent Reznor has released NIN&#8217;s new single, &#8216;The Hand that Feeds&#8217;, as a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.macminute.com\/2005\/04\/15\/nin\/\" title=\"MacMinute: NIN offers new single in GarageBand format\">70Mb GarageBand file<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n  Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails has made available the band&#8217;s new single, &#8220;The Hand That Feeds,&#8221; as a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nin.com\/current\/\" title=\"nine inch nails: current\">free download<\/a> for Apple&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/ilife\/garageband\/\" title=\"Apple - iLife - GarageBand\">GarageBand<\/a> application. The song, which weighs in at a hefty 70MB, features multiple tracks that you can easily tweak. &#8220;For quite some time I&#8217;ve been interested in the idea of allowing you the ability to tinker around with my tracks &#8212; to create remixes, experiment, embellish or destroy what&#8217;s there,&#8221; Reznor says. &#8220;After spending some quality time sitting in hotel rooms on a press tour, it dawned on me that the technology now exists and is already in the hands of some of you.
