Actually two performers who team up together from time to time &#8212; <a href=\"http:\/\/bagpiperdon.com\/\" title=\"Don P. Scobie: Professional Highland Bagpiper\">Don P. Scobie<\/a> on bagpipes* and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bishnutz.com\/\" title=\"(Site not active yet as of 7\/18\/05)\">Jesse Bishop (or Bishnutz)<\/a> on drums &#8212; their combination of traditional Scottish piping and modern hip-hop beats is always fun to stumble across.<\/p>\n<p>Last Friday evening while waiting for the Half-Blood Prince to come out, Prairie and I took a wander and found the Bag&#8217;n&#8217;Pipe Hoppers playing at the corner of 4th and Pine. Their playing had attracted a small crowd of onlookers, including a few b-boys breakdancing beside them, so I grabbed my camera and recorded a <a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/3715\" title=\"Vimeo: Bag'n'Pipe Hoppers\">few minutes of video<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><ins title=\"5\/11\/2010\">May 2010 Update:<\/ins> Though the Bag&#8217;n&#8217;Pipe Hoppers are no more, Don has gone on to form a new outfit, <a href=\"http:\/\/naeregrets.com\/\" title=\"Nae Regrets\">Nae Regrets<\/a>. Worth checking out!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Prairie&#8217;s especially fond of running across Don (a.k.a. &#8220;the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/djwudi\/tags\/donpscobie\/\" title=\"Flickr: djwudi's photos tagged with donpscobie\">hot bagpiper guy<\/a>&#8220;), whether or not he&#8217;s playing with Jesse.
