Happy birthday, Kev!<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t an incredibly recent photo of the two of us, but it&#8217;s one of my favorites. Taken in the summer of 2001, I was just a few months into living in Seattle, and had a tiny little apartment just a few blocks away from the Pike\/Broadway intersection. Kev was driving on one of his cross-country trips (either from Alaska to Emily&#8217;s family near Memphis, or vice versa), and stopped over in Seattle for a couple days to hang out with me and his friends Rob and Steve. Steve took this shot while we were wandering around the Pike Place Market on a gorgeous summer day.
