Boy and girl go on date to see a friend of the girl&#8217;s perform. After said performance, boy and girl go back to girl&#8217;s house and have light petting session. Ever.\">Google<\/a> search for boy&#8217;s name, and finds his blog &#8212; commenting on her lack of ability to kiss and his disappointment in not getting more frisky. Girl is upset and talks to her friend from the performance, who <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2002\/03\/18\/business\/18AUDI.html\" title=\"I'm thinking he probably shouldn't have used real names in the article.\">writes a column about the experience<\/a>. Said column ends up getting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metafilter.com\/comments.mefi\/15575\" title=\"It even turned into a fairly interesting discussion.\">posted on MetaFilter<\/a>, and people commenting on the column quickly find <a href=\"http:\/\/begleiter.blogspot.com\/?\/2002_02_24_begleiter_archive.html\" title=\"Yup, this is a real thing.\">the blog in question<\/a>. Boy find out about public disclosure of his comments when he starts getting e-mails and comments on his blog, posts his initial responses &#8212; &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/begleiter.blogspot.com\/archives\/2002_03_17_begleiter_archive.html#10820239\" title=\"Is there an inherent difference between saying something to a friend and saying something in a web journal?\">Holy crap<\/a>&#8220;, &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/begleiter.blogspot.com\/archives\/2002_03_17_begleiter_archive.html#10831299\" title=\"Trying to decide whether to bother responding to all those comments or not.\">Double holy crap<\/a>&#8220;, and &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/begleiter.blogspot.com\/archives\/2002_03_17_begleiter_archive.html#10838019\" title=\"...how much money could I make selling 'I Hate Joel' tee shirts?\">Triple holy crap<\/a>&#8220;. Much discussion ensues.
