Strip out the Trek references and call it &#8220;Generic Space Spies&#8221;, and it would be an entirely acceptable and inoffensive, if not particularly groundbreaking, direct-to-video movie. As a Trek film\u2026well, it&#8217;s a generic space spy movie with Trek references. Doesn&#8217;t break anything, but doesn&#8217;t really add anything to the franchise, either.
