Some fan, eh? Ah, well, life&#8217;s been a bit crazy lately.<\/p>\n<p>Not quite awake enough to make a full writeup, but in brief &#8212; entertaning, not bad for a matinee, but not nearly up to the level of his last few films (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B00003W8NM\/djwudicom-20\" title=\"Amazon: Fight Club\">Fight Club<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/6304795254\/djwudicom-20\" title=\"Amazon: The Game\">The Game<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B000050FEN\/djwudicom-20\" title=\"Amazon: Se7en\">Se7en<\/a>). However, PR is a much more straightforward film than any of those three &#8212; a story of a mother (<a href=\"http:\/\/us.imdb.com\/Name?Foster,+Jodie\" title=\"IMDB page for Jodie Foster\">Jodie Foster<\/a>) and her daughter (<a href=\"http:\/\/us.imdb.com\/Name?Stewart,+Kristen\" title=\"IMDB page for Kristen Stewart\">Kristen Stewart<\/a>) trapped inside a &#8216;panic room&#8217; inside their new house by a small band of thieves trying to get to a fortune hidden inside the house. Fincher has his usual fun with the cinematography, and the cast all does well &#8212; there just wasn&#8217;t a lot to the story.
