generator<\/a> is one of the coolest online wastes of time I&#8217;ve seen yet. It randomly grabs words from a webpage and turns them into &#8216;magnetic poetry&#8217; to play with. Click the link and have fun.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>I used to use some of the free fonts from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.girlswhowearglasses.com\/\" title=\"Dinc Free Fonts\">Dinc<\/a> when I was making flyers for the clubs I worked at. Now <em>all<\/em> of their fonts are free. Good stuff there. To that, I humbly present the circa-1994 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.everymac.com\/systems\/apple\/powermac\/stats\/powermac_6100_60.html\" title=\"PowerMac 6100\/60 PC Compatible\">PowerMac 6100 PC Compatible<\/a>, with both a 60Mhz PowerPC 601 <em>and<\/em> a 66Mhz 486DX\/2 processor! Rather bizarre machines to play with, actually.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Phil&#8217;s also released <a href=\"http:\/\/www.interalia.org\/archives\/001676.php\" title=\"EspressoBlog 2.1.1\">EspressoBlog 2.1.1<\/a>, a very nice weblog posting program that I use for posting to this weblog. As a bonus, he managed to implement <em>every single idea<\/em> I tossed his way in an e-mail conversation last week, even a couple that I wasn&#8217;t sure would be possible. Damn cool. And I <a href=\"http:\/\/www.interalia.org\/archives\/001670.php\" title=\"An assortment of people in a funny hat\">love the hat<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Aaron paints an optimistic &#8212; and very plausible &#8212; picture of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aaronsw.com\/weblog\/000842\" title=\"The Wireless Future\">the wireless future<\/a>. One of these days I&#8217;ll have to jump on the wireless bandwagon. All things with time, though.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/jeremy.zawodny.com\/blog\/archives\/000521.html\" title=\"The 10 habits of highly annoying bloggers\">The 10 habits of highly annoying bloggers<\/a>. Eight of these I think I&#8217;m safe on, but numbers 2 and 8 (each of which can be summarized as &#8220;not enough really original content&#8221;) I&#8217;m still working on. Too much of this blog is of the link\/comment style, and I keep meaning to do add more originality. Even I like it when I do manage to <a href=\"https:\/\/michaelhans.com\/eclecticism\/2002\/10\/george.html\" title=\"George\">come up<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/michaelhans.com\/eclecticism\/2002\/03\/hippies_on_mars.html\" title=\"Hippies on Mars\">with<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/michaelhans.com\/eclecticism\/2001\/05\/mars_needs_a_fa.html\" title=\"Mars needs a face lift!\">something<\/a>, so I should do it more often.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A good caveat regarding <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kottke.org\/03\/02\/030218amazon_assoc.html\" title=\"Kottke.org: Amazon Associates beware\">Amazon Associate links<\/a> from Jason Kottke.
