Impulse buying is evil

This entry was published at least two years ago (originally posted on July 25, 2003). Since that time the information may have become outdated or my beliefs may have changed (in general, assume a more open and liberal current viewpoint). A fuller disclaimer is available.

Ack. I just bought six different versions of “Wimoweh” from the iTunes Music Store. Evil, I tell you. Eeeeeeevil!

Of course, the song rocks.

So it’s okay.

(Wanders off, humming “wimoweh…wimoweh…wimoweh…wimoweh…”)

  1. G’Day Michael – pleased you enjoyed the article as much as I did. I am jealous of your new collection. Being outside the US I can’t access the iTunes Music store :-(

  2. Dropping by and saying hi right back.

I was born and raised in Fairbanks, and went to Hamilton (Clinton NY) for three sessions back in 94 and 95.

Whereabouts in Alaska are you from?

  3. My family came to Alaska when I was two — spent the first two years or so in Fairbanks, then moved down to Anchorage, and stayed there until I bailed from the state in the summer of 2001. My brother’s been living in Fairbanks for a few years now, but I couldn’t handle those temperatures!
