Lost s02e06: Abandoned

Scribbled notes while watching tonight’s episode of Lost. Spoilers, obviously, so only read further if you want to…

Lost

  • Starting off by reminding us of Boone’s death in the recap.
  • Sahid built Shannon her own hut…how sweet!
    • Cue the porn music…
  • Sawyer’s pissing everybody off.
  • “Did you see the kids?”
    • Kids plural?
    • Have the Others been stealing away any and all children?
  • “I’ll be right back.”
    • Hasn’t Sahid ever seen Scream? Never say that!
    • Oooh…freaky Walt is back!
  • “You heard screams, so you woke up the baby and ran toward them?”
  • Flashback: Shannon never struck me as having the patience to teach children.
    • Her dad’s death — because Jack was busy saving his future wife.
  • Using Vincent to find Walt…either brilliant or brainless.
    • Oops…found Boone’s grave. More death foreshadowing.
  • Heh — Locke knows about Charlie’s secret stash now.
    • But has Charlie been using the stash? Or just holding onto it like a security blanket?
  • Charlie gets jealous way too easily.
  • Is Ana-Lucia ever not intense?
  • Whoa…Shannon’s stepmom is a bitch! Classic “evil stepmother” routine.
  • And Sawyer goes down…
    • …is he out?
    • Commercial! Oh, the suspense!
    • Heh — we haven’t seen Jack yet. Maybe they’ll get Sawyer back to the hatch for Jack to look at, only to find JACK’S DEAD BODY!
      • Or maybe not.
  • Ana-Lucia’s scared to death, and covering it up by being “tough”.
  • That’s one hell of a stretcher they managed to put together.
  • Peter (who’s watching this with us) thinks Sawyer’s just faking it to get a ride. ;)
  • Oops…they lost Cindy. Which one’s Cindy?
    • Whispering…
  • Shannon doesn’t deal well with offers of assistance.
    • Of course, that’s one hell of an inferiority complex she’s battling.
  • Sahid: “I will never leave you.” Oh, he’s so dead…
    • They both see Walt!
    • Shannon’s shot…by Ana-Lucia?
      • Bingo.
      • Walt was trying to warn them.
      • Looks like Shannon’s dead.
  • Oooh…a special extended episode next week! With more details on what happened to the people in the tail section!
