Hehe — Prairie and I just finished watching Season One of Battlestar Galactica. I’d seen it before (on my ‘puter via BitTorrent), ’twas the first time for her.
She’s hooked.
We may end up taking some time to watch what there is so far of Season Two (which is sitting on my ‘puter, again thanks to BitTorrent) so she can catch up to where we are before they start broadcasting new episodes in January.
I should watch that sometime this week, seeing as I’ve had it for a half-year or so and haven’t had the chance. Especially now that the second season is done with, I am that much further behind. Good stuff, what I saw of the first season. Can’t wait to sit down to it.
Actually, only half done. Apparently the Sci-Fi channel splits their year into four parts: Summer Season, a three-month break, Winter Season, and another three-month break. The first half of Season 2 was the summer season, and starting in January the second half of Season 2 will be broadcast during the winter season.
It’s an odd way of doing it, though a good marketing ploy, I suppose, as they’ll be selling a box set of the first half of Season 2 called ‘Season 2.0’, presumably with a ‘Season 2.5’ to follow later on. Myself, I’ll wait for a complete Season 2 box set to come out before I pick it up.
