Program on the emergence of civilization.

This entry was published at least two years ago (originally posted on December 22, 2005). Since that time the information may have become outdated or my beliefs may have changed (in general, assume a more open and liberal current viewpoint). A fuller disclaimer is available.

I have no idea what prompted someone to leave this comment on my site, or what relation (if any) they think it might have to the post that it was added to…but it’s just long and bizarre enough that I think I’ll keep it. It didn’t come with any URLs or spam links, so I don’t have to worry about that. Just some odd ranting.

  1. Gee, is it obvious that I found it in the morning, not long after waking up? I didn’t even think to do that. Heh.

Ah, well…it’s still just entertaining enough to leave around, as long as I only get it once.

  2. Actually, a search on Google for “roots of racism are not of this earth” yields 12,800 results! Boy, this guy wanted his message heard! Unfortunately, the saturation makes finding the meme’s origin point a little difficult …

  3. SNORT! I liked his ‘royalty is the way to go’ line and Sam Walton as a working class hero was pretty funny too.

I think I met the guy who wrote it this week. Monday we were in Seaside, OR at the one and only internet cafe and there was some guy using one of the computers and yelling into his cell phone about some alleged injustice that had been done to him by eBay and PayPal. If we’d hung around another 10 minutes I think he would have elevated his problem to a plot by the Bavarian Illuminati.
