SeaBlogs Overrun by TrackBack Spam

This entry was published at least two years ago (originally posted on January 10, 2006). Since that time the information may have become outdated or my beliefs may have changed (in general, assume a more open and liberal current viewpoint). A fuller disclaimer is available.

This is just sad — sixteen of the twenty-five displayed TrackBack pings to Seablogs are TrackBack spam. Is anyone paying attention to moderating the site?

  1. People still use trackback?

    Re-re-re-re-re-re-design:

I also burned trackback. 99% of the requests for the MovableType trackback script are spam and I have a far better list of inbound links via Technorati, so what are we still talking about, really?
