Given that Texas A&M is up in arms over the Seahawks’ use of the ’12th Man’ phrase — which the Aggies have actually trademarked — I must agree with this idea that popped up in LiveJournal’s seattle group.
Someone needs to make t-shirts with the following (forgive the slightly clumsy formatting, I’m not familiar enough with MathML to actually make it work completely correctly, and apparently Safari doesn’t even display MathML correctly, so it wouldn’t matter anyway…):
√144th Man
Funny, the Aggies would have NO IDEA what you were talking about if you went with the sq root of 144. They are too stupid to figure that out. Believe me, I live in Houston and know them.
Of course, I am rooting for the Steelers because I grew up there, but I do like the Seahawks a lot. If the Steelers couldn’t win I wouldn’t mind seeing the ‘Hawks get their first trophy.
Whats strange about it all is the Seahawks don’t use “12th Man” at all, just the number 12, it’s been the fans who use the 12th Man term, so suing the Seahawks is completely pointless surely…
I dunno… Anyways, Go Seahawks on Sunday (though I have no affiliation with either team/city/region)
