A “time panorama” — seven shots combined into a single panoramic image capturing this kitesurfer’s jump. A little easier to see at the large size.
“Drink My Honey” by Lords of Acid from the album Voodoo-U (1997, 4:01).
Great shot(s). It reminds me of this winter’s Olympics, where they did basically the same thing with downhill skiiers (and probably others, but I only watched a total of 15 minutes of this year’s Olympics), except they probably had supercomputers doing it for them in real time. Very similar effect.
That’s an awesome shot… how did you get all those shots so quick? Burst mode?
Yup. I keep my camera set to burst mode all the time — if I just want one shot, I just take one, if I want a sequence, I just don’t release the shutter button ’til I’m done. Seems much easier than having to remember to switch it into burst mode from time to time.
After that, a bit of work in Photoshop to get the final composite done, and that was it.
