    • A tiny bit on the Lost finale I've only had a few hours to process the _Lost_ finale, and I was asleep for most of them, so this is still a little unformed and right off the cuff. Still, right off the bat, I'm a bit of two minds on how it all wrapped up...

    • Showgirls commentary track While I've never had a chance to catch it, for a while now local Seattle writer David Schmader has been hosing screenings of the infamous Showgirls, providing a running commentary skewering the film in what I've heard makes for an absolutely hilarious showing.

    • The Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Iraq It seems we have our own local Earthly variant of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal, reacting to the Abu Ghraib scandal with the belief that if we didn't see it, it wasn't there — and banning digital cameras in Iraq.
    • The library is really cool I did manage to spend a little time looking around the Seattle Library this Sunday with Prairie and Hope for their opening day festivities. I think this was the first, and quite likely only, time I've ever seen a line to get into a library!
