    • MiS Day One Today was day one of what I've dubbed the "Men in Skirts" weekend, with a jaunt out to Golden Gardens Park for the Utilikilts 5th Anniversary party.
    • Shake, rattle, and roll 'Did you feel that?' 'Yeah...what is that?' 'No idea.' The entire apartment was shaking, slightly, but very noticeably, about once every second and a half or so. It felt like a small earthquake, except that it was far too regular, and it kept going.

    • Vatican art online The Vatican has put their artwork collections online at Vatican Museums. I haven't taken the time to dive through it extensively yet, but it looks to be a fascinating site.
    • IntyOS IntyOS is not a port of Contiki and does not have the same desktop environment, nor the same built-in tools. It was written from scratch in CP-1600 assembly language in order to fit exactly to the hardware specificities of the Intellivision. Its main goal is now to see how far it's possible to go with today's technologies on such a limited system from the early 80's...
    • $300/minute According to the San Francisco Gate, the Bush re-election campaign is gearing up to spend at least $426,640 a day, seven days a week, between now and November 2004.
    • One Thousand Reasons There's nothing wrong with cowboys. They need to be tough and independent to be successful on the ranch. All those cows and snakes and such. Unfortunately, this attitude doesn't work as well for the leader of a country.
