At Eartgquake Park. We saw a moose and calf across the street from the parking lot when we pulled in!
Batman was quite impressed by the local flora on display at the Botanical Gardens.
Managed to find a spot at the top of Campbell a Airstrip Road (Brasher) where we could still get an overview of the Anchorage bowl.
(From earlier today.) “…we have wormsign the likes of which even God has never seen.” Okay, it’s an ice worm (which my iPhone wanted to autocorrect to “a nice worm”), not Shai Hulud, but Batman couldn’t let an obvious Dune reference go to waste.
(From earlier today.) “Do you see all that ice?! Mr. Freeze must be behind this dastardly deed. I’m sure of it!” Glaciers seem to be only vaguely understood by Batman.
(From earlier today.) Batman’s cover is blown, as he’s spotted by the only other passengers on our Portage Glacier cruise.
(From earlier today.) “The Batboat looks a little less impressive than I remember.”
(From this morning.) Road trip! “To the Batmobile! Or…closest rental equivalent.”
