You’ve got my vote, and from reviewing all the choices, yours is indeed the design I find most pleasing. I wonder if people are even looking at the other nominees or just voting for their pals? Some of the nominated blogs are pretty mundane.

Dude, you’ve got the wrong gender. Sorry to inform you, but crappy design + XX chromosome set makes for more votes than good design. I did vote for you, but it’ll be hard to beat the designs on top of you, not by virtue of actual “looks”, but by, well, the looks of the owner, I guess…
Yeah — I have to admit, that does seem to be the case. I can’t honestly say I’m surprised (and I had a guess that that was going to happen, so I never really expected to move very high up the list), but hey, it’s fun to try. :)
Besides — it looks like there have been some cheating issues in the ‘Best Overall Blog’ category, and I can’t say I’m thrilled with the categorization of the ‘ecosphere’ levels (Best Ecosystem Marauding Marsupials Blog? Best Ecosystem Flippery Fish Blog? Whatever…).
No offense, Michael, but I won’t be voting for you. Your design is nice, but I really don’t particularly like blog awards things, and as cool as it would be if you did win, I’d just as soon not contribute a vote towards an idea I don’t believe in.
You know, kind of like political elections.
Also, where in the hell did this wizbangblog come from? Has anyone even HEARD of this blog before this? I keep up with my A-listers pretty well, and I can’t say this one’s ever come onto the radar at all. (Though he will now, no doubt.)
