Scribbled notes while watching tonight’s episode of Lost. Spoilers, obviously, so only read further if you want to…
- The tail section landed in the water off-shore
- Little boy with teddy bear — same one seen with the Others?
- Ana-Lucia knows CPR
- Still keeping her former life secret
- I’m still leaning towards cop or maybe EMS
- That’s Goodwin — “Remember what happened with Goodwin?”
- Noises in the night
- Eko just brained two guys?
- Something’s obviously not right
- Aha…a raid by the Others
- One of the stewardesses survived…gave the same info the pilot gave
- Plane lost bearings, turned, flew 2 hours in the wrong direction
- 3 people dead by day four, another on day five
- Possibly more…looks like at least eight graves. Might include some in-crash deaths, bodies washed up on shore, the Others that Eko killed.
- Nighttime…another raid by the Others
- Took the two kids, maybe more?
- A list of nine survivors on the dead Other…weird
- …but then, what isn’t weird on this show? ;)
- Ah, they took nine people…that’d be the list
- They planned who to take, names and descriptions
- Another infiltrator
- Is bathroom boy (Nathan) this side’s Ethan?
- Ana-Lucia dug the hole as a prison for Nathan
- Bingo…neither Ana nor the stewardess remember Nathan from the plane…interrogation time!
- But someone’s feeding him.
- Goodwin’s letting Nathan out
- Oh, damn…Goodwin just offed Nathan!
- Goodwin’s the infiltrator…there right from the beginning…showed up running out of the woods, yelling about Bernard
- Kill Nathan, hide the corpse, make it look like he escaped
- They’re on the move again
- Found a bunker
- “Quarantine” on the inside of the door again
- Different Dharma Initiative logo — an arrow instead of a swan
- Mostly empty, some supplies inside a trunk
- Bible
- Glass eye
- Radio
- The radio works…must be what Boone heard in the crashed plane
- Ana and Goodwin talking about the Others
- Maybe they’re not attacking
- First raid, took the strongest men, biggest threats
- 20+ year old Army knife
- Maybe Ana’s military? She recognized that pretty fast. Or just a knife fan.
- Ana’s suspicious of Goodwin now…
- Bingo…Goodwin’s outed
- Nathan “wasn’t a good person”, so he wasn’t on the list of nine
- The children are fine…”better off now”
- Goodwin-kabob!
- Boone’s on the radio
- And Ana kills the transmission…thinks it’s a trap by the Others
- Hey…Ana can cry after all
- …and Eko can talk
- 40 days of silence. Penance for killing the two Others? Possibly religious (40 days in the desert)?
- Another body washing up…probably Jun
- Yup.
- Of course he’s running!
- Recap time, catching up to Shannon’s death
- Grrrr — “extra long” episode my ass…extra long by ten whole minutes! Grumble.
- Next week, confrontations. Ana-Lucia vs. Sahid in a grudge cage match! Or something.
I think you were generous with the extra ten minutes as the extended part, it was more like one less commercial break…
And is it me or is the timeline messed up now? cause surely there was longer than 4 days between Boone’s death and Shannon getting shot
I’d have to watch it again to be sure (along with some of the prior episodes) — I was too busy trying to eat and scribble notes at the same time to really keep track of the ‘day X’ title cards — but I’d figure more than just four days, too.
According to iTunes, this episode was 46 1/2 minute long compared to the usual 43 1/2… extension!
