Here’s a fun little entry in my small and random collection of Trek stuff: A set of four drinking glasses issued by Dr. Pepper. They all have TAS artwork on the front, some technical or biographical information on the back, and have a copyright date of 1976.
This set was found by my brother at a garage sale or antique store (I don’t remember exactly) a few years back and sent to me as a present. They’re great! Though they’re definitely display pieces, as I don’t want to risk damaging them…or the possibility of their using some sort of funky ’70s-era lead-based paint or some such thing.

Captain James T. Kirk
Captain James T. Kirk is commander of the U.S.S. Enterprise. He is a graduate of Starfleet Academy and is commissioned by the United Federation of Planets to use his starship to explore the galaxy. As commander of a starship with over 400 people in it, Kirk is responsible for their lives and welfare. His first love is the U.S.S. Enterprise.
Mr. Spock
Mr. Spock is the Science Officer and Second-in-Command of the U.S.S. Enterprise. Spock is a native of the planet Vulcan, born of a human mother and a Vulcan father, who tries to follow the Vulcan philosophy of emotionless thought When he does so, Spock can be as coldly logical as the Enterprise computers, but sometimes his human half wins out.
Dr. Leonard McCoy
Doctor Leonard McCoy, First Medical Officer of the U.S.S. Enterprise, is affectionately known as “Bones” by his captain and friend, James Kirk. Dr. McCoy has served with Starfleet Command for many years and has learned to cope with alien diseases and unusual medical problems that arise when travelling in unexplored areas of the galaxy.
