Playing with my niece Finn. I was a boat that she was driving.

Fresh picked green beans and cherry tomatoes from Prairie’s garden to go with dinner tonight.

Lounging on the back patio while the nieces splash around in a kiddie pool. Aaahhh, summer!

My nieces, all face painted at the farmer’s market.

I was trying to take my picture for today, when suddenly I was photobombed by a mischievous little monkey!

It’s hot enough here that the suet we put out for the birds is melting through the bottom of the cage!

For #throwbackthursday: 2006 was the last time I shaved off all my face fuzz.

Aha!

These crosswalk lines just got painted outside the building I work in. One of them — the one on the right in the foreground — is offset by about six inches (to the right, from this vantage point) away from consistency with the other three. This is going to drive my #ocd tendencies bonkers every time I see it…which will likely be a few times each day as long as I’m working here.

Early lunch today so I can go see a friend defend her master’s thesis this afternoon.
