This must be the most hilariously college student treat I’ve seen in the cafeteria here. Like Rice Krispie treats, only with Captain Crunch (I think). Looks…horrible.
We are once again allowed to leave the country! First time since 1996 for me. Now…where to go? (Probably Canada in the near-ish foreseeable future.)
More goodies! The movies are birthday presents from Prairie’s mom (we’ll have to let her know what she got me), the book I’ve had on preorder for months. Our plan is to find time to watch the Jurassic Park trilogy before seeing Jurassic World. No real reason for the Pirates series other than that we enjoy them. And Stephenson is probably my favorite current SF author. Good thing this quarter is almost over!
Just got a nice present from one of the graduating LAJ students. She did the bird etching herself. :)

Some of the local quail have added our backyard to their regular route.
It’s been raining almost nonstop since Monday evening. It’s like living on the Westside again! :)
