Book fifty-seven of 2016: Merry Christmas, Alex Cross, by James Patterson. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Prairie read this yesterday, and said that since it’s a Christmas book, I should read it too. It’s more of a short story or novella, just 100 pages, and just as high quality as you’d expect a Patterson holiday short to be.)

Books aren’t all that get collected at our house — the movie collection keeps growing too (only three of the just over eight shelves are visible here)! Looking forward to seeing if Santa brings any additions. ;) (356/366)

I was greeted at the door with an after work cocktail (pumpkin spice rum eggnog) and bread about to come out of the oven. Prairie enjoys playing 1950s housewife when she’s off work (as long as she gets to choose which parts of the 1950s to emulate). (354/366)
