Day 155: The other bit of lights we put up are these orange strings all across our back porch. Mostly only visible to us, but can just be glimpsed from the street if someone glances over at just the right time as they drive by.

Day 155: The other bit of lights we put up are these orange strings all across our back porch. Mostly only visible to us, but can just be glimpsed from the street if someone glances over at just the right time as they drive by.

Day 154: I witnessed a murder on the way off campus!

Day 153: Since yesterday’s shot of me putting up our Halloween lights was taken during the day, I figured one taken after sundown tonight to show them lit up was in order. Much more impressive this way!
Just because I can, and I haven’t done anything like this in ages, I’ve given my blog a minor redesign for spooky season. Just color and font tweaks, nothing major, and this site is so low-traffic that I doubt many people other than me will notice, but hey — that’s okay too.

Enjoy spooky season, everyone! Less than a month until Goth Christmas! ;)

Day 152: It’s the first day of October, so it’s time for the spooky season lights to go up!

Day 151: Some days are just kind of cranky, but having an angry opossum declaring that ‘everything is fine’ does help a bit.

Miles’s adventures continue, with all the twists, fun characters, double-crosses, and humor that make this series so enjoyable. The adventure is fun, but it really is the characters and how they relate to each other that impress the most. Four books in, and so far the only disappointment is that I didn’t find this series earlier.

Day 150: This is what happens when a coworker is cleaning off their shelves and comes to the office with a box of free-for-the-taking DVDs.

Day 149: Sat and waited outside for a few minutes as my wife wrapped up her day. While we’ve definitely been getting the fall rains for a few days now, it’s nice to see the fall colors starting to come in around campus as well.

Day 148: Back walking on the track again, but this time, with company! The geese kept an eye on me, but didn’t seem terribly concerned. Probably because they know they can kick my butt if they want.
