You all can have your Jonathan Coulton and your Justin Timberlake. When it comes to May Day songs, I’m partial to Jason Webley.
And when you hear the spirit’s call
There ain’t no use to fight
And if you want to reap tomorrow,
you better sow your seed tonight…
Got my #LordsofAcid #PrettyinKink goodies today; new album should be out soon!

TrekMovie has an analysis of the #StarTrek #Discovery promo video posted today, including stills of DIS’s take on the TOS uniforms. I think I like the blend of TOS and DIS styles they came up with. Here’s hoping season two is a bit more to my liking than season one was. 🖖
Nice collection of renders of the DIS version of the Enterprise collected by TrekMovie. Gotta admit, I think this version of the ship is growing on me, and these artists’ work presenting it from different angles helps.
Experimenting with posting YouTube videos to micro.blog. Excellent show by Front 242 last night. So impressed that these guys are still going this strong, really glad I got a chance to see them.
Seen (but not purchased) at the Kent Goodwill. Honestly, I considered them out of morbid curiosity, but then decided it really wouldn’t be worth it. #fumanchu #saxrohmer #racism #orientalism

Interesting: SmugMug has bought Flickr. Hopefully that means good things; I was a big fan of Flickr until Yahoo! bought it and let it stagnate, and SmugMug is where I ended up starting to set things up instead. Could be too little too late, but hopefully not.
With Labyrinth getting mentioned a lot due to the upcoming theatrical event, I think it’s worth linking to this excellent fan theory about the story’s background. “…of course she’s Sarah. They were all Sarah.”
I don’t knit, but I know I have knitters among my friends, and I think this would entertain them: SkyKnit: When knitters teamed up with a neural network. “This possibly marks one of the few times in history when a computer generated code to be executed by humans.”
