Since I’ll hit 20 years of blogging this November, this year I’m posting a daily list of anything I published on this day in the past.

- More Shaming 'Liberals are using their cultural power against the right because it’s the only power they have left, and people have a desperate need to say, and to hear others say, that what is happening in this country is intolerable.’ ➡
- “Kirstjen Nielsen was not heckled for what she believes. Sarah Huckabee Sanders was not booted from the restaurant because of her politics. They were singled out because of things they actually did. And that is the difference.” ➡

- Book twenty-eight of 2016: Death by Umbrella, by Christopher Lombardo and Jeff Kirschner. ⭐️⭐️ (178/366) ➡

- No. This is too many hots. I do not approve. ➡

- You Win! On this day, 60 years ago, The New Yorker published 'The Lottery,' by Shirley Jackson. ➡
- Links for June 25th through June 26th Sometime between June 25th and June 26th, I thought this stuff was interesting. You might think so too! • Albanian Custom Fades - Woman as Family Man • He let them down. He ran around and hurt them. • The Big List of Things I Like About LibraryThing • Olympic start gun gives inside runners an edge • Chrysler will offer wireless Internet access in 2009 models • The Fly: The Opera ➡
- Sentenced to two life terms in bed? Another addition to the list of reasons why I'm going to hell, or, things I _really_ shouldn't find funny, but do. It's not the following story that's funny -- to the contrary, it's rather horrendous -- but NetNewsWire's 'show corrections' feature inadvertently had me snickering as my brain mashed together bits of the two versions of the story summary. ➡

- Vote Vote as if your life depended on it. It does. ➡
- Server issues In case Dad or Kirsten check in, there seem to be issues with the djwudi.com/hanscomfamily.com/geekmuffin.com/interalia.org server at the moment. ➡

- Seattle Solstice Odd things about being a (fairly) recent Alaska transplant — this last weekend was summer solstice, and I didn't even really notice. While I don't think I'll ever be moving back to Alaska, the summertimes really are some of what I miss. ➡
- Butt Kicking ;) I get the impression from what you said that your sole experience with Harry Potter so far is watching the first movie. If that's truly the case, than I'm not too surprised that you 'don't get it.' ➡
- 1-800-ooooops An adulterous Finn pressed all the wrong buttons as he made love in a car -- unknowingly prompting his mobile phone to call home just in time for his wife to hear his mistress moan 'I love you.' ➡
- The Fear Thing and the Sex Thing Not fearing sex is great training for not fearing anything else. Including how you look and sound on TV. ➡
- More on Lawrence v. Texas This is huge. Our nation took a huge step today toward eliminating one of the last standing impediments to true equality under the law. Just wait until the press picks this up. ➡
- Year 5 over already I didn't really mean to stay up until 4:15am to finish Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix last night…I just got sucked in and lost track of time. Roughly eight or nine hours reading time over the course of the day all told, before and after work. Good stuff! ➡
- Supreme Court Tries Sodomy…and likes it! Sorry, I couldn't help the title — especially after Slate magazine's unfortunate choice of headline ('Supreme Court tries sodomy') from the beginning of this trial. ➡

- I’m back! Really! I’m here! I got back in Monday night, I've just been too caught up in either resting or getting life as usual going again down here to have tossed anything up on the page for the past couple days. ➡
