    • Thankfully I finally got a new digital camera last week…. It's pretty nice. I wish I could download pictures to my PC. Thankfully, I have a Mac now. (I hated when annoying people said things like that before I had a Mac. ;) ➡
    • 'Hands-free' isn't accident free I've got a habit of hanging up on people if I know that they're calling me from a cell phone in their car. I've been grumbled at this on more than a few occasions, especially lately when they can use the excuse that they're using a 'hands free' headset, so they don't have to have one hand on the phone. I'll still get off the phone — I've never believed that jabbering on a cell phone while driving, with or without a headset, is safe. ➡
    • Quickies! Of primary interest, however, is the public unveiling of a drink I came up with a few years back, and had been quite popular among my friends since then. We've just finally given it a name: Quickie! ➡
    • Drool Steve Jobs announced the usual slew of goodies during his WWDC keynote speech. ➡

It gave me a chance to play a little bit with low-light photography, experimenting with various shutter speeds to see if I could get anything decent. ➡

    • Bachelor Week I'm a bachelor for the next week! I just dropped Prairie off at the airport, sending her down to Palm Springs, CA to visit her dad.     • Free Wi-Fi for my apartment? Today on my way home for lunch I saw a work crew installing one of the Wi-Fi antennas on a lamppost on the 8th Avenue bridge over Freeway Park. Now I'm starting to wonder if my building just might end up with free Wi-Fi access provided by the City of Seattle. ➡
