Unrehearsed, seat-of-the-pants, let’s-see-what-happens mixing. You never know what might fall into one of these!

Difficult Listening Hour 2020.07.18
Week twenty-one of my unplanned, unrehearsed, seat-of-the-pants goofing around. As a way of getting back into practice and doing something regularly, I’ve started doing regular Twitch broadcasts, now on Saturday mid-mornings. These are the results. Anything goes.
Alligator House Dance Party
Nothing terribly fancy here — just an hour’s worth of playing around, entertaining my nieces (ages 10 and 7) during a visit. But since this was my first mix in a few years, and I didn’t train wreck too horribly, I decided to go ahead and toss it up.
(“Alligator House” is the nickname for our home, as it’s green in color and the angled roof of the carport out front makes it look vaguely like an alligator.)
Difficult Listening Hour 07 (120BPM)
This weekend’s new practice mix. Every song in this mix is somewhere between 115 and 125 BPM. And as always, this was mixed “live” and has no post-processing or editing work, so while it may not be perfect, it’s all me!
Difficult Listening Hour 02v2
The second of my old collection of mix sessions that I’m posting. A little longer than the last one, and a little more pop-y. There actually was a ‘v1’ of this mix, but it had a few slight flaws that I wanted to fix, and I ended up choosing a slightly different set of tracks to use (though, I may have simply introduced new flaws…so it goes). Hence, ‘v2’.
