Recorded live at Norwescon 48, it’s my Thursday night dance, the First Contact Galactic Gala! Three and a half hours (half an hour longer than scheduled; thanks to everyone who stuck around late!) of music for you to enjoy.
It’s the Thursday night dance! On our first evening venturing Into the Wylde, who knows what manner of fantastical beings we will encounter… or we will be? Mix-and-match from whatever outfits you brought for the weekend to create mashup costumes, or wear something to represent your fandom(s), and come down and dance to a mix of dance tracks across eras, convention favorites, and all manner of mashups and oddities, all brought to you by DJ Wüdi!
Now that I’m prepping to DJ the Thursday night dance at Norwescon 45 in a couple months, I realized that I’d never posted my Norwescon 39 Thursday night dance recording here. Whoops! So here it is, a few years late — four and a half hours of music from the opening night of a science-fiction and fantasy convention. As is standard for me, it’s a mix of all sorts of stuff. Enjoy!

Hey, this thing is still here! This is just an hour of goofing around, mostly just testing to make sure all my electronic wires were configured correctly and that I still remembered how to get a stream up and running properly.
Since it was just a couple days before my birthday, I went a bit all over the map with this one, as I worked through some of the tracks I’ve had set aside to play but which haven’t quite fit into recent weeks. A bit more eclectic than usual, is what I’m saying.
Week ten of my unplanned, unrehearsed, seat-of-the-pants goofing around. As a way of getting back into practice and doing something regularly, I’ve started doing regular Twitch broadcasts, now on Saturday mid-mornings. These are the results. Anything goes.
