- I pointed this out to Prairie and said, “Those birds look like testicles. And you’ll never be able to un-see that now.” She started laughing so hard she almost spit banana fro-yo at my head. ➡
- Smooches at the Yakima Arboretum, after a picnic and before a nice walk along the river. ➡

- Stranger vs. Weekly in the Online World The Seattle Weekly one-ups the Stranger with three new weblogs and RSS feeds for their entire website. Kudos to the Weekly...and hey! Stranger! Step it up, will ya? ➡

- MOG: Last.fm with poorer English Under a link called 'Share my MOG', you can notify all your friends of your new MOGspace. - Fame Last night when I went down to check my snail mail, another of the residents in my apartment building was checking his. I was heading back to the elevator when he spoke up. 'Hey -- aren't you Eclecticism?' ➡

- Seattle Storm Lauren Jackson in the buff See what I get for not paying attention to sports? I almost entirely missed hearing about the latest overblown controversy involving an adult choosing to pose naked for a magazine being sold to adults (though not an 'adult magazine', i.e., porn). ➡
- Buffy and Angel? Firstly: is Angel as good of a series as I'm finding Buffy to be? Should I start working my way through this series also? And if so, how should I watch both shows — finish Buffy and move on to Angel, or watch both at the same time? ➡
- I think I saw a porno like that once LOTR FANS: What are you, new? ➡
- SpaceShipOne makes history SpaceShipOne left the Earth behind on Monday morning and made its indelible entry in the history books as the first private spacecraft to carry humans into space. It touched down safely at Mojave Airport at 11:15 ET. ➡
- More on Moon’s coronation Kirsten pointed me to a Salon article following up on the bizarre coronation of Rev. Moon. I'm so flabbergasted by this event. ➡

- Off to Anchorage Well, Laura's here, and we'll be heading off to take me to the airport in the near future here. Then it's off to Anchorage, to visit friends and see James and Stacy get married -- woohoo! ➡
